Alia360 3D, a 360° 3D camera for robots
Alia360 3D sees all around the robot and measures depth in every direction. It mounts alongside the robot's own cameras and runs on its own compute, so it adds nothing to the robot's load. It ships with apps that work on day one.
How it works
Two parts, one system
- An optical unit and a compute unit.
- The optical unit has six cameras in three stereo pairs.
- Depth is measured, not predicted.
- Hardware-synchronized capture across all six cameras.
- The optical unit mounts on top of the robot. The compute unit mounts on the body.
- All apps run on the compute unit.
- The robot receives alerts and results over a standard link. Its own systems are untouched.
